If you ever feel discouraged by some of the craziness you may see on the weekly workout schedule, I understand. Some of the movements seem daunting and the workout goals out of reach. But think about it, what movements or workout times are you crushing now that felt the same way to you last year?
Looking at the highest prescription can be overwhelming, maybe impossible. And yes, while it’s a goal, the reason we put the “crazy” out there is to open the road for progress and to break expectations. A high goal leads to an open road with many paths towards growth. If your gaze isn’t further than your comfort zone, you may miss out on potential you didn’t know you had.
So, instead of thinking of the workouts as an impossible feat, try to reframe them as an open road. A chance to try new things, keep moving forward, and break through your own ceiling. And instead of viewing scaling as a defeat, know that scaling is the greatest tool towards your success. It’s what keeps you moving, progressing, and growing toward more. (Now, some of you could maybe scale a little less… but that’s for us to fight about later 😉)
